Born and raised in England, Mr. Lumb came to the United States to attend Northwestern University. He later graduated from Boston University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree.

Mr. Lumb has practiced law for over thirty years and is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and California. He began his legal career as a prosecuting attorney handling both criminal and civil matters. He has extensive personal injury litigation experience, having represented both defendants and plaintiffs.

For the past fifteen years, Mr. Lumb has emphasized criminal defense and related areas such as police misconduct litigation. In criminal defense, he has successfully represented defendants against a wide variety of charges including homicide and other serious felonies. He has also successfully represented individuals as plaintiffs alleging police misconduct.
